MILITARY FINANCIAL Aid

The following Veterans Benefit information will answer most of your initial questions concerning the processing of your benefits while at Keiser College.

The following steps to be certified by the V.A. at Keiser University as follows:

1. When you find out you are eligible to receive VA benefits, you may download an application from the Department of Veteran Affairs main website; the address is www.gibill.va.gov. Please note that there are several different types of applications; they are as follows:

  • 22-1990 application (for veterans who have NEVER received Montgomery GI Bill benefits before – Chapter 30 or 1606);
  • 22-1995 application (for change of institution or change of program for veterans who have received Montgomery GI Bill benefits – Chapter 30 or 1606);
  • 22-5490 application (for survivors’ and dependents’ education assistance that have not used survivor benefits before – Chapter 35);
  • 22-5495 application (for change of institution or change of program for survivors and dependents that have used survivor benefits before – Chapter 35).

2. When an application has been filled out, you need to mail the original application to the regional processing office:

If you have already apllied to the V.A. please forward us a copy of the application.
