Q:Is Keiser University an accredited college?

Q. How are the classes scheduled?
A. Keiser University eCampus starts new classes every month, so you can conveniently start your program without any lengthy delays. Q. Is there any difference in the degree for an online program?
A. Whether you take your classes in class or online, Keiser University is accredited to award associate and bachelor’s degrees by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Your diploma for an online program is identical to one that an on-campus student would receive.

Q: How long has Keiser University been in operation?
A: Since our start in 1977 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Keiser University has grown to be one of the largest independent colleges in Florida with multiple locations. Online classes continue the student-friendly tradition in career education and we attract students who appreciate a more personal learning environment.

Q: Can I get my degree completely online?

Q: How do I know if online learning is right for me?
A: Online learning requires that the student have self-discipline, dedication and the ability to manage their own study time. Students need to read the textbook and other course materials, turn in assignments on time and will be graded on exams taken online.

Q: What computer requirements and skills do I need?
A: Students must be able to access the Internet, use a mouse and keyboard, save and print documents, use word-processing software to write papers, and be able to send email. Also students must be able to type a URL (uniform resource locator) into a browser to access Web pages and use search engines (such as Google and Yahoo). Q: Do I have to take a test to be admitted to Keiser University?
A: For admission to Keiser University, you must have certification of high school graduation or high school equivalency (GED). A placement test is required and you may contact admissions to make arrangements to take the test online.

(SAT and ACT scores can be substituted for the college placement test.) The entire application process may be conducted online.

Q: Do you accept transfer credits?
A: Yes we do. Credit for courses or degrees completed at another institution for students enrolling at Keiser University will be subject to approval by the Dean of Academic Affairs.  These courses or degrees must be similar in content and duration to those offered in the program for which the student has applied. The Dean of Academic Affairs will consider only official transcripts mailed directly to Keiser University.
